Terms of use

These terms apply when you download or use the Vibepanions app for Mac, or use vibepanions.com. By doing either, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Vibepanions.

Who we are

Vibepanions is made by DevSparks, a brand of Origene Ventures Pte Ltd (UEN 202542190C), a company registered in Singapore ("we", "us"). Contact: support@devsparks.io.

Payment, refunds and licence

• Vibepanions is sold by our reseller, Lemon Squeezy, which is the merchant of record: it takes the payment, charges any sales tax, VAT or GST, and issues your receipt. Its own checkout terms apply to the payment.
• You pay the price shown at checkout once. There is no subscription and nothing is charged again.
• Refunds: write to us within 14 days of paying and we refund you in full, no questions asked. Once refunded, the licence key stops working. This does not limit any right to a refund that the law gives you.
• We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Vibepanions on the number of Macs your key allows, which you own or control, for your own work, including paid work. It does not expire, and it includes the updates we publish for this version.

What you may not do

• Sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the app, or share your licence key.
• Reverse engineer, decompile or modify the app, except where the law allows it despite this term.
• Use the app or the site to break the law, to break the terms of Anthropic, OpenAI or any other service, or to attack or overload our servers, including the checkout and the licence check.

Changes the app makes on your Mac

With your permission, Vibepanions installs small hook and status line scripts and edits ~/.claude/settings.json and ~/.codex/hooks.json so it can see your sessions. It shows you the change first, backs up the file to ~/.vibepanions/backups, and can uninstall them again. You are responsible for reviewing the change and for your own backups.

Figures are for guidance

Usage, limit, cost and forecast figures come from files that Claude Code and Codex write, and some are estimates. They can be wrong or out of date. Do not rely on them for billing, budgeting or anything where a wrong number could cost you. Your plan's own usage page is the authority.

Other services and trademarks

Vibepanions is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Anthropic or OpenAI. Claude and Claude Code are trademarks of Anthropic. Codex is a trademark of OpenAI. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for them, including changes that stop Vibepanions from reading their files.

Your data

How we handle personal data is set out in the privacy notice, which forms part of these terms.

Feedback

If you send us feedback or ideas, you let us use them to improve Vibepanions without owing you anything. We will not publish your name or email with it without asking.

Ownership

The app, the site, the characters and their artwork belong to Origene Ventures Pte Ltd. These terms do not transfer any of it to you, apart from the licence above.

No warranty

Vibepanions is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, data, work or usage allowance, arising from your use of Vibepanions. Our total liability for any claim relating to Vibepanions is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Ending your use

You can stop using Vibepanions at any time: uninstall the hooks from the app, delete the app, and ask us to delete your data. We may suspend or end your licence if you break these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We change the date at the top when we do, and email customers about any change that materially affects them. Continuing to use Vibepanions after a change means you accept it.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. The courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that if you are a consumer in another country you keep any protection its mandatory laws give you.
